what happen to number one of chance pop?

I enjoyed this show. Prede hit the nail on the head by saying it was "criminally overlooked." The graphics are a bit old school, and the story is a bit predictable, but there are a few twists and turns along the way that will keep you watching.
One thing about this show is the music is replayed over and over...expect to be able to sing the song "Pure Blue" by the end of the series (even if you can't speak Japanese).

i love it

This is a criminally overlooked liitle show about a group of girls who end up on a path to becoming pop singers for one reason or another. It's a great music drama, in the tone of "Beck" and "Nana", which should be of no surprise when you look at what studio did this. Madhouse is great for these types of shows, and although this is more "happy" and lighthearted then the others, it's still a great musical drama, and should be given the time of day. it does get serious at times, and it's not completely happy all time. But it's not as dark as Nana or Beck either. It starts off a little slow but it's a very good show so give it a chance to find it's footings. The artwork is not Madhouse's best work, but I do like the more colorful color pallete they used this time around, and the character desings are great. The music is really amazing, although sadly I do not believe enough tracks were used and it does get repetive at times. I must make a speacial note for the dub, as I thought it was really original sounding. I loved, loved, loved Kelli Cousins in this! She really is something else. It's a shame she hasn't been in more shows. Hilary Haag and Monica Rial stand out in their roles as well. Stick with the dub on this one (even if the music is still song in Japanese and it's a bit jarring).
