If your pinkies aren't ready by now, then you're falling behind here. The week is over and there's nothing better than sitting down with your honored doll guests for a spot of tea and a bit of anime.  Rozen Maiden makes it's debut today on the site, with a full English dub and a nice HD option.

 

This show about living dolls is more than meets the eye, with a darker tone the further you watch and a bizarre story rife with magic and drama that's sure to keep you coming back.  You'll get introduced to a number of Shinku's friends, one of which is responsible for one of the older internet meme's that I can remember.  You'll know which one.  For more on the show, check out our description below:

• Towanoquon continues next week with Movie 5 becoming available to Subscribed members.  Movie 6 will come just in time for the Japanese release as well, so you'll have a couple of weeks to catch up before the end.  Speaking of the end, the final film's trailer was streamed this week as well, watch it here.

 

• Dream Eater Merry is getting an English dub and will be released on Blu ray next year.  Check out this article on ANN for more details.

The holidays are upon us, and with it comes a lot of days spent under the covers getting as comfy as you can before the new year rolls around.  Wouldn't it be nice to have something new to watch on the site while you sip on something to keep you warm over your break?  Of course it would, and we're more than happy to oblige.

You guys ready for a ****load of new stuff?  This week we're adding a lot of content to the site, to the tune of 3 new features and 2 brand spanking new series.  We've also got our usual Bits & Pieces, plus our boss was interviewed by Zac from ANN for their weekly podcast.  Lots of stuff going on this week, so lets get started.

 

 

AN Movie Nights

Watching anime is great, whoo hoo awesome stuff.  Sometimes though there just isn't enough time in the day to watch a whole series, which is why I'm really diggin' the fact that we're picking up some flicks lately.  This week we've got 2 really kickass movies for you guys to check out.  Hopefully there's a rainy day this weekend wherever you are, one of these would be perfect for that!  Don't forget, Towanoquon continues next week with movie 4 premiering on AN Online as well.

Majikoi: Oh, Samurai Girls

It’s one thing to honor your ancestors and keep old traditions alive, but there IS such a thing as taking it to a ridiculous extreme. In Kawakami City, having a samurai ancestor and enormous ‘fighting spirit’ isn’t just an interesting fact, it’s a huge part of how you end up being ranked on the social totem pole. That, in turn, rolls over into the school curriculum. Fortunately, that’s something the local kids like Yamato Naoe have learned to deal with by forming into small ‘bands,’ (that’s the samurai type, NOT music.) However, while the delicate sexual balance of Yamato’s group seemed fine when there were three girls and four boys, the sudden addition of two MORE girls starts to send everything spinning out of control!

Mashiroiro Symphony ~ The Color of Lovers

Watch it boys: if you're trying to get in, these girls will make sure you stay out! Poor Shingo. As soon as life starts becoming normal, his coed school, Kagamidai, begins the process of merging with Yuihime, an all girls private academy. Not only that, but Shingo's also been picked to be part of a group of test males who will be transferred into a Yuihime classroom. Suddenly, he is surrounded by the enemy, no ammo in sight, and with literally no man power to back him up. How will Shingo survive this death trap of feisty females?
